| Divinyl benzene has two vinyl groups with rich reactivity and It can generate three-dimensional insoluble polymer. Therefore, it is an important cross-linker. It is widely used in the manufacture of ion exchange resins, unsaturated polyester, ABS , polystyrene , modified styrene butadiene rubber and it is also used as the cross-linker for copolymerization of styrene, butadiene, acrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate , acrylic acid ester emulsion. The said ion exchange resins will be used to soften hard water, produce pure water, extract salt from seawater, refine amino acid and antibiotics, decolorizing glucose and granulated sugar, and remove metal ions from wastewater. |
